“There is no stopping a fast train.” “Seizing the bull by its horns.”
These phrases best describe how PDNC is aggressively taking on its markets.
Just last month, the PDNC team arrived from a trip to Middle East after closing favorably initial negotiations with Saudi investors. Immediately upon arrival, the team composed of the IT firm’s VP Sam Estrella, Product R&D head Janfel Villahermosa, and Technical Support & Services head Cesar Macaraig already had several product demos and meetings lined up for the rest of the month with respected private and state universities in Luzon.
This time, PDNC crosses over to the island province of Marinduque, the island province famous for its Moriones festival and butterflies.
Last September 12, the team of three were given an esteemed visitors welcome by the Marinduqueños with the traditional “Putong” where honorees are crowned with flowers while local women sing and dance before them. The rest of the well-wishers throw petals and coins for long life.
Despite the festive atmosphere, the PDNC trio was seriously one in purpose which was to capture the island, the IT needs of Marinduque State College (MSC) at least.
True to their singleness of purpose, the team drew out the interest of MSC with Dr. Romulo Malvar showing his curiosity particularly with the Wyred System.
After demonstration of PDNC’s products and services, MSC’s negotiating team was enthusiastic in availing of the Wyred System for their call center and medical transcription training needs.
The Wyred System is a Linux-based terminal server system developed solely by PDNC that eliminates the need for both costly hardware and software in running local networks. What you pay for is only the customized system because it takes advantage of the rich pool of open source software. Open source software also drastically reduces if not totally eliminates the need for costly anti-virus software as it is naturally resistant to virus attacks.
To complete the Marinduqueño’s welcome, Dr. Malvar gave the PDNC team a quick tour of the several campuses under the MSC umbrella. Later in the day, The MSC team accompanied the PDNC group to pay a courtesy call to the Hon. Carmencita Reyes, the Governor of Marinduque.
