PDNC News Service The Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PHILSCA), the country's recognized aviation school through its president, Dr. Enerico M. Sampang, invited PDNC for a demonstration of the fast growing IT company's locally developed Wyred and Cablinet Systems on September 15 at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, Philippines.
This preliminary meeting came into being after the school president learned of PDNC's expertise in a recently concluded meeting for a proposed call center and medical transcription training program at the Marinduque State College of Agriculture (MSCA).
This initial meeting is considered a milestone in PDNC's history. Its leadership expressed delight as the company has been trailblazing not only in the local IT scene but globally as well as prospects have been actively requesting appointments and business presentations in the past few months. A sign the PDNC management appreciates.
Unlike before when the formerly small IT company was scampering for small deals to survive, now, nationally recognized institutions such as PHILSCA already sees PDNC's competencies to be of help in upgrading its IT facilities, relates VP Sam Estrella. He feels thankful to the institutions that came to trust and believe in PDNC's capabilities in information technology.
All systems are now on a go as PDNC carries a project portfolio of PhP50 million and as it gears up for an upcoming multi-million expansion in Saudi Arabia. With the recent inspiring events, VP Estrella sees the firm going in the right direction.
The Cablinet System is the latest addition to the firm's innovations catering to the unique needs of its clients for local area networks (LAN), says Mr. Cesar Macaraig, PDNC's Cablinet designer and head of Technical Support and Services. It was designed using the Gigabit technology and was built to fully maximize the potential of PDNC's Wyred System, a Linux-based terminal server system also developed by PDNC.
The Villamor Air Base is just one of the many aviation campuses of PHILSCA. As President Sampang showed his delight over the presentations, he expressed his plans to take the PDNC team for a high ride in the near future to other PHILSCA campuses, namely, Clark Air Field in Pampanga, San Fernando Air Base in Batangas, and Mactan International Airport in Cebu.
The two parties showed optimism and excitement over a possible partnership that will help PHILSCA soar higher in aviation instruction, and for PDNC, another feather in the cap if the collaboration pushes through.
Also present at the meeting were faculty and students of the flying school's various departments.
